The first thing that jumped out at me is, why the fuck would she be assisting during a procedure? She presumably has no medical training and therefore would be useless in a medical setting. And if she DID have some sort of medical training it wouldn't have taken EIGHT YEARS of working at PP for her to be asked to assist in a procedure. Jesus.

I kind of hate it when pro-lifers describe the horror of an abortion so as to further their cause. It's not like I think abortions are all candy and unicorns. I think the fact that abortions are often difficult and traumatic but women go through them anyway is proof of how necessary they sometimes are.
