Ohio Gov. John Kasich calls police officer "an idiot" for giving him a traffic ticket

Gov. John Kasich emphatically referred to a police officer who ticketed him for a driving violation last month as "an idiot."

The Republican governor was ticketed on Jan. 11, 2008 for "approaching a public safety vehicle with lights displayed" on Route 315 in Columbus and later paid an $85 fine. But Kasich was not happy about it.

I know I'm probably doing harm to myself by even trying to figure out why Kasich does... anything that he does, but I just don't even get why he would tell the story. Even by Kasich's words the police officer sounds like he was just doing his job.

I just... I'm with you OP. I hate this dude, and I'm embarrassed he's my governor. Definitely didn't vote for this tool.
