Sarah Palin is an idiot.

But a "Death Panel" refers to a set of individuals (or an algorithm) that determines if it is "worthwhile" to provide someone individual care based on cost-analysis, rather then need or ability.

This is just a destruction of service. It doesnt even make room for alternate care and competition to enter the market.
