To us, it's an obscure shift of tax law. To the City, it's the heist of the century.

The more bullshit the Tories pull, the most convinced I become that Capitalism has run its course. Let's do something else.
And kick Cameron and his ilk out of office. Right now.

Fuckers.

Its nice to know that while the Tories are attacking the welfare system, slashing budgets and reassessing what's considered a Real Disability™ because the country's so desperate they're robbing societies most vulnerable yet can afford to line the pockets of the super rich and the banks who got us into this situation.

And by nice, I mean leaves me with seething rage. How come no one is protesting this shit? Seriously can't wait till people realise what the tories are doing and actually start to give a shit about how they are screwing over other people, though by then it'll probably be too late.

injustice of the kind described in this column is not a perversion of the system; it is the system.

Basically.

What an absolutely horrifying turn of events. Totally unsurprised and also very sorry to hear that this isn't getting the type of coverage it deserves.

It has learnt the lesson that Thatcher never grasped. If you want to turn this country into another Mexico, where the ruling elite wallows in unimaginable, state-facilitated wealth while the rest can go to hell, you don’t declare war on society, you don’t lambast single mothers or refuse to apologise for Bloody Sunday. You assuage, reassure, conciliate, emote. Then you shaft us.
