In those cases, there’s about a 51% chance that the 40% of reported rapes will have an arrest made. There’s an 80% chance of prosecution. Basically, he's taking the "Sweden is shitty at prosecuting alleged rapists so this isn't fair" line.

Um, he can't really throw stones.

And his argument is basically "You've never prosecuted rapists before, so why start now? Since you haven't done it in the past you should just let Assange go without trying him." Shouldn't it be "Congratulations Sweden, good job on trying to put this (alleged, admittedly) rapist in jail"? Also, why is he trying to apply American principles of law (innocent until proven guilty) to a Swedish case? The Swedish don't care about our core American principles; it's a completely different country!

Also, is he really comparing the government going after Julian Assange to lynching black men in the South? REALLY?!

Michael Moore. Fuck you.

I did not hear about the unconscious part. If it's true, he definitely should be put away.

I just want this whole thing to be resolved quickly.

Keith Olbermann flouncing over feminists being OMGMEAN to him has made me roll my eyes so hard I can see behind me.
