Believe homosexuality is wrong, if you like, and don't conduct same-sex unions in your church, etc. Believe it's wrong to wear cotton or not eat shrimp 2 meals a day, or juggle baby geese, if you like. Your right to force your moral judgments on the rest of society is, however, very limited. Get over it.
And the result is that those people who disagreed with the homosexual agenda are being ostracised by society, he said. Really? You, a (former) representative of the Catholic Church, really want to take that route?
Not that I think he is in any way right, but I'd seriously like to sit down with this man and ask him if he sees any parallels between the consequences of this so-called homosexual ideology and you know, larger parts of history when the Catholic church ruled most of Europe in effect. He can honestly explain himself to me, I would love to know how he's thought this up.
Well dammit I'm sick and tired of hearing this shit from the Catholic Church when apparently it's been perfectly okay to do THAT for God Himself only knows how long without fear of prosecution or even of losing your job! They need to stop telling non-Catholics what to do STAT and get their own house in order before I'm going to listen to another word from ANY of them. And for the record I'm a Christian.
"Gay human rights defenders are not persecuting Christians, we are simply asking them to stop persecuting us," [Peter Tatchell] said.
Ding ding ding!
Why can't people like this Cardinal realize that fighting against persecution isn't the same as persecuting others? "BAWWW I'M BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR DISCRIMINATING AGAINST OTHER PEOPLE BAWWW."

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.
