That was an interesting rant by Mr. Yeffet - and this is certainly a rant-worthy topic - but I'd have liked more information on what El Al actually does.

since El Al's security measures are so well-known, wouldn't it be easy to gain the system? when i'm asked all those questions, i just get annoyed. i don't know how the security person would read my annoyance.

I've been through el al security several times. Its definitely different. For the first part, I didn't even realize I was being interviewed. I was just having a conversation with a security agent!

Same! I just remember they kept asking me what I could say in Hebrew. I mostly know offensive things (thanks, Israeli scouts at camp!), so I was so fidgety and embarrassed.
