I don't know if I agree with her on everything, but she seems incredibly brave and I'm confident that she truly cares about her country. What more can you really ask for? Good luck to her and to all the Brazilians in this comm!

And there's a lot of debate on Brazil and US drifting apart lately (especially after different positions on Iran sanctions, Honduras and the dispute over American cotton subsidies), which is pretty silly and forced. We simply started voicing our opinions more and obviously the views of a developing country (in fact, a country that is often trying to unite the developing world to pursuit collective interests) will often diverge from Washington. Overall, when you look at it we defend the same ideals but sometimes our strategies are different.
