Zicke-Zacke-Zicke-Zacke Hoy, Hoy, Hoy! Prost and all that fine German toasting.
... I come from a hugely German part of Ontario and Oktoberfest was amazing this year. I was so wasted, ngl. Someone told me once our town has the biggest Oktoberfest outside of Germany. Idk if that's true.
But I only just learned to love Guinness this summer and it's the only beer I'll drink. I don't know if I want to start all over forcing myself to develop a taste for whatever kind of beer you get at Oktoberfest. T__T
Oh man, confession: I do not like Guinness. I would not drink it even if it were free. Not a stout girl. I cant even enjoy chocolate stout, fml.
I generally like beer, but Im not sure I've had German brew. But I can generally be down with European beer. Leffe-Blonde (Belgian) is freaking delish.
I'm also curious whether Oktoberfest offers like, pear ciders, because holy god it'd be over--I'd got to the local festivities every year for the rest of my life.

Check it out next year. I don't have a lot of hometown pride, but that's one thing we do well.
