Is anyone from ONTD_P going to Dragon*Con this next week?
I know this isn't a story, per se, but as it pertains directly to the membership of the comm, I'm hoping the mods will let it post:
So, getting ready to head up to Atlanta for dragoncon this Labor Day weekend, and was wondering if anyone else from ontd_political is going to attend. Was thinking that it might be fun to do a meet-up some time on Thursday afternoon at the Marriott Marquis bar Pulse to have drinks and hang. I'm thinking early to mid afternoon on Thursday since that should be not too packed with major events yet. Alternate time suggestions are certainly welcome as well. Plus, if I have a contact list of those who intend to be there, I can coordinate directly with folks to schedule something that works for nearly everyone.

Mods: I'm curious to know if there's any way to do a lmited type of sticky post for the first few days this week, since I imagine this will get buried almost immediately by the deluge of stories due to Beckapalooza this past weekend. Thx! ;p
UPDATE: Since it appears that quite a few folks won't make it til later on Thursday or early Friday, I'm thinking I should bump our meet-up until Friday afternoon. Contact me at "Ldyandrea at hotmail dot com" if you're interested in showing up and I'll coordinate with folks via email regarding a good time for the majority of folks.
