McCain camp plans to shield Palin from the media for the rest of the campaign

Because really, why should a potential VP answer any substantive questions from the media about the issues? I mean, it's not like the Vice President has anything important to do:

1) NOBODY at the RNC talked about a plan for the economy or a way to help people stay in their homes. Nice try.

2) McCain's campaign is self-destructing. It's really pretty sad.

basically, the RNC was a buffet of Obama bashing with a side order of "I WAS A POW.. I'M A HERO!" and some mildly attractive school librarian thrown in.
