Front pages reach an audience beyond a newspaper's readership, and every editor knows this.

Therefore, the impact of this stunning bigotry and ignorance should not be underestimated and certainly shouldn't be ignored:

HATE.

And all these years, and I still can't get over the fact that they have a fucking crusader on every front cover.

Well, it fits, since the Crusades were all about oppression, though I doubt they're intelligent enough to make the historical connections.

And The Daily Star says: "no room for gays". Are they deliberately trying to out-arsehole the Express?

I think they're all trying to out-arsehole each other, to be honest. Our newspapers are shameful. The only mainstream ones that don't make me want to tear my hair out just from reading the front page is the Grauniad and the Indepedent.

The DS will ALWAYS out-arsehole everyone.

Remember that headline saying that 'immigrants' had 'taken every single job vacancy in the UK for several years'?! Errrrr...

Ugh, it's the "IF THE GAYS/TRANS PEOPLE/OTHER MINORITY HAVE PROTECTIONS, OTHER PEOPLE WILL EXPLOIT THEM!" panic bullshit again. Along with fetishization/exploitation, stereotypes, anti-immigrant BS, and hypocrisy. I'm shocked, really.

And besides, we all know that even persecuted minorities are often sent back on some bullshit pretext to the countries they fled for legitimate reasons anyway, because the people in power don't really give two shits if some random people are killed just as long as it doesn't drain their precious resources. I mean, if asylum-seekers are painted as lying cheats, people will buy that bullshit because it's easier than actually helping someone escape an oppressive country or system.

The front page of that newspaper... just... oh my god...

That's the kind of thing I would make to satirize the Daily Express because it's so out there. It's hard to comprehend that this isn't satire; that it's actually the legit front page.
