Shitty Autotune "Rapper" BFF's With Sean Hannity?!!

Apr 12, 2010 13:26

Fox News host Sean Hannity appears to have been in New Orleans this weekend, ostensibly to attend and cover the Southern Republican Leadership Conference. Who knew he’d also have the time to hang out with rapper T Pain, the musician best known for bringing his uniquely annoying auto-tuned sound to both Bud Light commercials and viral videos? If ever there were question that T Pain was a sell out were crossing over, this certainly answers it with a resounding yes!

Turns out that T Pain appears to be some sort of fan of the conservative movement, evidenced by his parroting of Hannity’s comment “conservative victory 2010!” at the of the video clip below. In other related news, T Pain’s career as a hip hop artist now appears to have officially ended, moving on to the slightly more controversial role of “cross-over” artist. Let’s hope that the royalties he’s earning from that Bud Light commercial will serve him well!

Note - upon further reflection (and serious questioning by commenters) calling T Pain a “sell-out” was harsh. Apologies to T Pain, and his legion of conservative fans who I might have offended.

WATCH THE VIDEO AT THE SOURCE BECAUSE IT WON'T EMBED.

I don't know what to think about this. On the one hand I absolutely hate his music. On the other hand, we need more black Republicans. Also, old lulzy icon is old and lulzy.

ETA: Bossip calls T Pain a "coon" for being a black Republican. BRB, starting a massive flame war!
