Bed and breakfasts run by Christians should be allowed to turn away gay couples on religious grounds, a leading Conservative has said.

Shadow home secretary Chris Grayling said hotels should not be allowed to discriminate against homosexuals.

If you turn your home into a business you subsequently open it to whomever comes by for business, and you thus cannot turn away members of protected categories by reason of membership in that category. If you don't want gay people in your home, don't run a bed & breakfast. Duh.

MTE. If you're that keen to control what people "come into your own home," then why on earth would you open up a B&B in the first place? If you're going to run a business out of your home, then don't be surprised when the laws that apply to every other business now magically apply to your home.
