It also says what the mother and father's backgrounds are, and what faith or religious beliefs they have. “They fit what we look like and our Christian beliefs, and they wanted a closed adoption.”

they view it as "their" baby that they're giving up for adoption. people who give up the actual-babies often have preferences about college education, religion, income etc. it's still just your dna you're giving away but it matters to some.

Infertility treatment choices are also reproductive choices and deserve the same respect.

No they don't. Adoption is morally superior.

I rather have people adopt children who are already alive and and out of the womb before they even consider getting a test tube baby.

Have you ever tried to adopt a child? Do you have any idea how difficult or expensive it is? Do you know all the things that disqualify you?

You don't get to tell people what to do with their own bodies, full stop.
