Well, he might not be too pleased to hear it, but he really is the only conservative writer I like. I miss his columns. He's writing a book, I think? I wanted to like George Will but his climate change column was too much.

I like Kathleen Parker sometimes. Also, one of my friends ran into George Will at a Barnes & Noble a few years back, and said he was trying to haggle the price of some discount book he was trying to buy. That was in the mid- or late-nineties, and ever since, I haven't been able to take him seriously because all I see is a guy in a bowtie with a weirdly round haircut haggling with some bored minimum wage earning kid.

That's hilarious. When I worked in a grocery store people would try to pull the same thing.

I had people come in with coupons for completely different stores, trying to use them. Why do people do that? It goes beyond cheap, possibly even beyond entitled.
