My first draft (that I've been working on since Friday) got erased so here's draft number two.

I don't know what is going on with Nico Pitney but it seems like his coverage of Iran has stopped.

Also, it seems that the Taraneh Musavi story may be fake? I've heard reports that it was a hoax and then they found proof...to be honest I'm not sure if ( Read more... )

The trials are rather expected, but they still make me angry. I'm mainly bewildered by him hiring women to the goverment. Does he think this will get him in into the reformers favor?

I do believe he is trying to calm down the feminists because women are the primary protesters.

They are the force behind this and not the men.

It seems strange there's no explanation given for Pitney's lack of blogging. I wonder if he had to stop to protect someone and any posting at all could put that person or persons in danger.

I don't know. I still seem him signing in gtalk and I know that Josh (NiteOwl) got's more sensitive contacts, same for other reporters so why is this one dropped?

I think the official word is to smooth things over and work on the nuclear issue.

I'm kinda hoping he comes. I can't wait to see what protests and events will happen because of it.
