And chances are many of the birthers won't even know what it means to have cert denied. I was in a job once where pro se lawyers would send all kinds of crazy documents, and we'd get a lot of Supreme Court notices from people writing, "See! The Supreme Court is going to hear my case!" when the document they were sending stated exactly the opposite.
