I'd agree with that. All he's going to do is stir up resentment within the Muslim community. It's so short-sighted of him that he can't see that.
Sure there are rules in Islamic countries where western women must cover themselves, but surely the west is more enlightened than to say "you have to look like the rest of us and dress like the rest of us". Just ridiculous.
Enh, asking someone to cover their head in a Muslim country is sort of like when they ask you to cover bare shoulders when you enter an Orthodox area in Israel or something.
I mean, they don't generally ask western women to wear burqa, do they?
When women, any women, enter a mosque, I'm pretty sure they have to wear some sort of scarf on their head-just to cover their hair, really. Nothing big.
Ah, that's what I figured, I don't think that's a huge deal, I mean they aren't really forcing you to like, do what they want, just asking for a little respect I guess.

I think it's gotten really messed up. Men will cheer at women in scanty little bikinis but God forbid we decide to stick up two fingers at you and pull on a long black skirt or whatever. It's so fucked up.
I mean, I'm a hypocrite here; I'm 19, I'm in pretty good shape and I love flaunting my legs and whatever when I'm at the club... I could never cover up, I'd just feel ugly, I have to flash what I have... that's the kind of person I am but I think more power to you if you're strong enough to do that!
