1. Get that flag off the story.

2. While everyone else continues to cheer protesters on, it's not their family members that are being killed. Not everyone has short-term memory regarding how Mousavi co. killed students and dissidents in the 80s. Ultimately you can't /get your votes/ back in a broken system, where your /leader/ is part of the problem.

As a friend of mine sent me in an email from Iran "What is this game? Fighting between politicians, because of bigger part of Iran? because of more power ? Who will be sacrificed? people? our friends ? what will happen when politicians make agreement? my country ,I’m crying for you all the time ."

3. It's a good thing that Rafasanjani is STFUing. He knows everyone finds him pathetic and no one wants to hear him talk.

Feel free to flame me however.

I love how I was listening to the news yesterday and [terrorist] groups like the MKO are singing praises of Iranian protesters with there calls for justice and for unity? Onward soldiers, onward, sacrifice yourself so we can co-opt your sacrifices for our political games.

It rubs me the wrong way, him asking for more protests. They people do not need your urging and frankly it comes off as slightly blood thirsty.

I understand Mousavi is only marginally better then Ahmadinejad, but I think the protest is no longer about politicians, but for liberty, truth, and respect.

Yes, but protests need a leader, if Mousavi keeps quiet, the people will feel neglected. He said himself in one of his speeches that this isn't not about Mousavi anymore
