Does the homosexuality/paedophilia conflation meme have it's own Godwin rule yet?

Nope, but it really should be a law, and you also have to include bestiality in it, perhaps as a corollary.

Oh and also I feel like the internet has really exhausted the "LOL NICE STRAW MAN DEFENSE" in the last year or so. So while we're making internet laws, let's retire straw man as a retort to someone who's having a legitimate debate with you. I do realize the straw man is not always used incorrectly, but it seems about 90% of the time it is used in internet arguments it's just someone trying to evade a point and thinking they sound super smart when they're all OMG STRAW MAN, and it has the bonus effect of getting them out of the debate when it gets too difficult for them.

And finally, I have the biggest crush on Jill Biden.

There probably is an excess of calling straw man, but I think there's also an excess on the internet of using straw man arguments, so it's maybe hard to say how significant is the incidence of undeservedly calling straw man.

IA so hard about the straw man comments. I'm taking an advanced logic class right now, and it's beyond frustrating when I read those kinds of comments. In most cases, the argument in question does not even remotely resemble a straw man defense.

I'd say the argument is used correctly probably one out of ten times. It's so -_- inducing.
