Oh and on one of the last few days of my past semester, this girl who lived next door to me thought that I was mixed the whole damn year. She was convinced. I mean, wtf was I supposed to say to that? I just sort of looked at her like O________O. Nobody has ever said that to me before.

I mean, some people you can just tell they're likely mixed with something. But, er, I wouldn't say that that's the case with me, lolz.

I get the opposite reaction. I tell people I'm mixed and they think I'm lying (only white people. ever.).

Lolz, what I don't get is why would somebody lie about that?

lol @ "regular black". People always try to guess what I am, and they're always wrong. My favorite are the people who say "Are you sure you're not at least a little (Puerto Rican, Filipina, Arabic, etc...)?"

To be fair though, I have a relative who didn't know she was like an 1/8th white because she has that little contact with that side of the family and didn't know her grandparents. It's possible to not know, so you can't always be sure. I'm almost sure there's some white in me somewhere - my paternal grandmother was really light-skinned as is that entire part of my family.
