What I fail to understand is why the current administration is trying to cover this up. Obama has been making a fuss about how unlike certain previous administrations, he actually cares about human rights, and then he goes and covers up additional photos. Wouldn't this qualify as aiding and abetting? Despite the outrage that the photos would/are causing, they're finding their way onto the internet without being accessed via the Freedom of Information Act. It seems like the photos will inevitably become available, so it would make sense to at least release on his terms. Is this an attempt to not alienate the Republican party by going after Bush's legacy, because I have some bad news if that's the case: nothing Barack Obama does will make conservative pundits and policymakers stop despising him as the ultimate uppity elitist liberal. These photographs presented an opportunity to show the world and the American people that the policies of the last 8 years will not continue, but the Obama administration has instead shown that in the ( ... )

I think it's been confirmed, politicians everywhere are sleaze bag liars-- some just lie better and use propaganda more efficiently and get elected.
