So, Bill Maher is saying that the GOP is to the far-right what Stephenie Meyer is to batshit teenage Twilight fangirls, who masturbate over the idea that being utterly unremarkable in every way makes them "special."

Well, Meyer IS Mormon, and the Mormons were huge backers of Prop 8, so ...

My God. It all makes sense now. THE GOP HAS BECOME THE PARTY OF SUETHORS, WITH ALL OF THE DRAMA AND ENTITLEMENT AND BATSHIT CRAZY THAT THIS IMPLIES

THE REASON THE GOP BUDGET WENT THROUGH SO MANY DRAFTS WAS BECAUSE THE *ACTUAL* FIRST DRAFT WAS SIMPLY A COPY OF "MY IMMORTAL" BY TARA GILESBIE

I can't tell if this is suppose to be satire or not. And it is otherwise incredibly scary if they consider the relationships in Twilight "healthy".
