On the one hand, yeah, talk about hitting men where they live. ;)
On the other ... "sex strike"? REALLY? So we're back to reinforcing the age-old notion that it's a wife's JOB to have sex with her husband (a notion which was one of the reasons why it took so goddamn long for marital rape to be recognized as "real" rape, by either the law or by society)? REALLY?
It's the same reason I cringe when I see Lysistrata cited as this great proto-feminist work, because its central conceit is INCREDIBLY misogynistic - it's a worldview in which it's implicit that women "possess" and "hoard" sex, and men have no choice but to "take" sex from them, either by trickery or by force. Just about the only "feminist" I know who's willing to openly endorse such gender roles is Camille Paglia, and she's about as much a "feminist" as David Duke is an anti-discrimination activist.
