Now CNN is going WATB First, it was
Ed Henry's turn to go
WATB in the wake
getting owned by President Obama. Now, the rest of CNN is lining up for a taste:
Let's dissect CNN's report:
CHETRY: Time is ticking on President Obama's honeymoon, and even though his poll numbers are still high, there's a growing murmor of criticism. Carol Costello is tracking this story from Washington this morning.
COSTELLO: The president's approval ratings are still high, but many Americans are wary of his plan to fix the economy and that could create problems for the president down the road.
Okay, there's no news here. Sure, Obama doesn't have 100% support, but there's nothing new about that. Still, CNN presents it in such a fashion that you might think it really was great news for John McCain.
CNN continues:
COSTELLO: 65 days into his term, the 'H-clock' is ticking a tad louder now.
Their evidence?
COSTELLO: Some "American Morning" viewers left voice mails, showing signs of impatience.
So they got voicemail...and that means Obama's in trouble? Seriously? Hilarious! But wait:
COSTELLO: Still the president's approval ratings are high, 63%. And the majority of "American Morning's" callers reflected that.
Okay, so a majority of their voicemail is in support of President Obama. This despite the fact that critics are more likely to voice their opinions than those happy with the people in charge.
So what does CNN turn to next? None other than Mitt Romney strategist Alex Castellanos criticizing President Obama for answering Ed Henry's question at Tuesday evening's press conference:
COSTELLO: CNN analyst Alex Castellanos says Mr. Obama's impatience at a news conference over a question about aig -- "I like to know what I'm talking about before I speak" -- is a sign Mr. Obama himself is on the defensive.
Um, excuse me, but President Obama isn't on the defensive, CNN is. And this 'news' report was all the proof of that fact that you need.
You know what this REALLY reminds me of?
Even though I'm a liberal, I'm honest enough to admit it:
This REALLY reminds me of how the press used to react to REAGAN.
It's that EXACT SAME exasperated tone of OMG WOULD YOU STOP BEING SO POPULAR ALREADY???
This does NOT bode well for either the GOP OR the MSM.
