I just got all 7 seasons on DVD and am watching through for the first time. It is excellent and was well worth the money.

*high fives* Me too! Just started season three, baby! I'm not ashamed to say it has taken over my life. ;) I wish I had started watching years ago. On the plus side, buying everything all at once was way more affordable! :D

I'm still 2/3rds of the way through season 2 and I'm stalled because...well because I just got Fallout 3 and it's consuming all my nonparenting hours and also because I'm hoarding it like a box of Godiva and portioning it out in teeny tiny bites. Once it's gone IT'S GONE FOREVER!!!

I went the route of buying the complete series boxset off eBay. The price came out about the same as Amazon, thankfully. I don't know if I'm going to like the later seasons as much but I needed to own everything.

Oh man, it's nice to hear that some people watch TV-on-DVD same way I do! I blew through the first season waaay too fast, so now I'm limiting myself to one episode a week (maximum!). Your metaphor is very apt as this show is SO DELICIOUS. I must ration! And enough amazing/moving/distressing/interesting things happen in an episode that I need time of absorb anyway. :D

I just started watching a few months before the election because I was devouring all things presidential. It's a great, great show.
