The History Channel: 'Secrets of Body Language'

Nov 15, 2008 22:21

The history channel is showing a program called 'Secrets of Body Language', is a very interesting program. The most interesting part was when they talked about the candidates of the 2008 election (they also covered Bush, Bill Clinton, and other historical and political figures)... if you missed it, they have a repeat tomorrow... (running time is 120 minutes).

Quote: "Gestures, facial expressions and body movement compose ninety-three percent of communication--only seven percent of understanding derives from words. Experts in non-verbal signals will deconstruct video footage of people from iconic moments in history, past and present, to reveal what was truly being said. Learn how subtle movements are used to persuade masses, establish power, and advance careers--most often without anyone knowing it."

TV Review: Secrets of Body Language
the review is interesting, but unless you watch the episode you will miss a lot...
