I didn't get to watch the skit on SNL, and I'm on vacation, but how does everyone think Palin's appearance on SNL went? Do you think it helped or didn't really help her at all?

Did she make a fool of herself?

I'd like to know since the news I'm watching doesn't really say anytihng much.

I saw the opening skit but not her spot on weekend update. She didn't make a fool of herself. I thought the script was very cautious and played it safe. She did very well at the opening. I didn't see the other skit tough.

I thought she was so funny, just for raising the roof and dancing HAWKEY MOM-style to Amy's rap. I don't want her near the White House, but I thought Weekend Update was definitely funnier than the opening. They had a fake Todd Palin too in a snowmobiling suit and that was hilarious.

LOL. Man I missed it and my computer is too shitty to watch youtube videos :/

Same for me. It doesn't change my opinion of her politically but she did well.

I thought Weekend Update was hysterical, but because of basically everyone other than Sarah Palin. Amy Poehler was really funny, but...of course she was. Palin seemed really, really tense the whole time, except with the arms in the air, I guess.
The beginning...painful. Awesome, thanks to Alec Baldwin, but also just really painful.

I also don't see how she's going to reconcile this with her base and her hatred of the "liberal elite".
