I'm marvelling at the difference between Germany's response as a country accountable to human rights, and the disgraceful silence and goalpost-moving on the part of the UK because the tories are now depending on dictatorships after screwing themselves out of the EU. It's a horrible situation for these detainees, but I also hate seeing the UK descend into a wannabe authoritarian regime. That contrast with Germany's response says it all.
