Are we pretending that policy and not character was at issue in this election?

I think she could have done a better job fighting back against Republicare. Trump is going to let the republicans gut medicare and medicaid, which we all knew was coming because this has been Paul Ryan's thing since forever, and she barely made a peep about it.

Let's pretend for a second that the ACA wasn't a losing argument for her, as it has been for all Democrats for 8 years from both left and right (I'm pissed the Republicans control that situation, but healthcare is and has always been lose-lose for US fed politicians and make no mistake Medicare and Medicaid is the ACA at this point. If the Republicans lose seats in 2018? It's likely because of the healthcare, not because of Trump's Russia-infested Admin) and that this wasn't clear from anyone with eyes.

Healthcare and Clinton is essentially also symptom of her ~overreach in the Whitehouse, when B.Clinton was president, so it absolutely still is a character issue, not just a weak one for all Dems. Secondly, the Republican attack has been, dun dun dun, that she and all Dems have been lying! So, a character issue.
