I love how Trump Regrets is just full of white people who are suddenly shocked about his tweets or the fact that he's behaving like a child. Did y'all not pay an ounce of attention during his whole campaign because your mind was so made up against Hilary you would have voted for a flaming dog turd if it got the Republican nomination?
That's why the replies are the best part! All though they do get a bit repetitious, since there are only so many ways to say "You're just now figuring this out?" and "Congratulations on seeing the light!" lol.
I just find it encouraging to see that so many of his followers are starting to realize they've been had. Also, some of the tweets give insight into what was going through their heads when they chose to vote for him, which I find fascinating (although I realize that's not everybody's cup of tea).
They seriously thought he was "just acting that way to get elected" but did not see a problem with the fact that acting that way made him more popular. There's a problem here.
We're watching the whole show from over here in great fascination. In the usual "did you hear what he did now?" section of our last phonecall, my mother, who has been paying attention to how Trump signs papers and otherwise interacts with written things, put forth the hypothesis that he cannot actually read.
But even though she was supposedly spoofing unfounded rumors and how they get started, she actually made quite a good case for this one.
The most persuasive moment for me was during the deposition when he said he didn't have his glasses. I've heard that is a very common excuse that people use to cover up an inability to read. In that moment, I totally believed that he couldn’t read. I have no idea if it's true, but I'm at least half convinced now, after seeing that one clip.
