Yeah. I'm holding on to small mercies. Especially since overall I feel like I really want a good, solid Nintendo game and have been without for a while. (got Fire Emblem but the localization + lack of japanese really made me sad, I liked Pokemon Sun and Moon but they're also like... not as many new OMG MUST HAVE Pokemon this time, and was there anything else big that came out this year? I really do't remember.)
And on a whim I checked Tears for Fears website to see if they were touring and apparently they did... between June and September
and I'm like jfc I checked this this year I know I did but I guess at least they only came as close as Ohio. That would have killed me.
whaaat an hour that is not nearly enough time! DM always plays for at least like, three okay it feels like three
I saw TFF in 2010 and it was a fantastic concert. But my sister missed out so I'm going to drag her one day or another. I also parked in a garage in downtown Richmond and had a minor freakout that someone had stolen my car until I realized it was separated into east and west sides.
I swear, DM does play for three hours. We saw them at Key Arena in 2009 and that was the one where they postponed the CA dates after because Dave's throat was rough. They did two encores and it seemed to last forever.
TFF: I don't know if you've heard any recent live stuff, but Roland's voice still sounds great. Curt's is a little weaker with age. It was very fun despite the shortness.
Yeaah, the last time we were about to head out anyway since it was a drive back to the hotel and they were still playing Waiting For the Night and seemingly full of energy. But I really like that I have yet to go to a DM show (three now) where it was the same general setlist, or they didn't end with something completely utterly different. When my sister saw Fleetwood Mac last time she was really disappointed that they'd used the same exact setlist in the same exact order. Plus it was around... $120.00 per ticket IIRC

I am looking forward to the new Mass Effect too. I hated all the combat/fighting bits (especially in 2 and 3) but the rest is such a glorious telenovela it's amazing

the thought of the next mass effect game and nintendo switch next year is literally the only thing that's keeping me afloat.
