I seem to recall Obama fairly and squarely winning 332 electoral votes in 2012 and instead of ~getting over it~ the Republicans threw every shoe they could find into the legislative machinery to stonewall anything he wanted to do. Mitch McConnell said that was his party's goal in a press briefing shortly after the election, IIRC. And while we're talking about that racist fuck, let's not forget McConnell also refused to do his fucking job and hold confirmation hearings on Obama's SCOTUS nomination strictly because of a partisan desire to deny Obama another nominee.

Sounds good to me. Part of responsible democracy is holding politicians accountable, so have at it.

Yeah, Pres. Voldemort may not care about accountability. But this is not about just that (although accountability is part of it). If I understand correctly, it's about putting as many obstacles in his way as possible and just generally making his life hellaciously complicated. Accountability is part of that, but it's just one part.
