Happy Diwali folks!
I don't feel like I got any rest this weekend, and I'm not ready to go back to the daily grind. And I'm still overfull from my 1:45 p.m. lunch. Bleh. Need all the cardamom/spearmint/fennel, I guess.
Also, TMI, but my bum is seriously chafed because I had to go more than usual today and all those times I was out so I had to use public bathrooms and their TP is not Charmin.

In other news I gave my first test of the year on friday and half the students didn't even try and answer one of the question that we talked about no less than three time. I am annoyed.

My daughter voted today, and I went with her. (I voted already, but we had other places we wanted to go, so it made sense to go out together, take care of her voting, and then do our other stuff. I sat down in a chair in the lobby at the Village Hall where the polling place was while she got in line, and OMG, what a line it was! I didn't look at the clock when we got there, so I'm not sure how long it took, but it seemed like for-fucking-ever. I have a feeling the turnout for this election is going to be in the stratosphere
