25 years of this and nothing has changed. I'm just so sick and tired. Also, I'm very terrified about what's going to happen at this election.

I think nothing will change unless we all (i.e. all humans) accept that human rights need to be front and center and not a mere 'consideration', with an occasional reminder by NGOs.

Also, these 'reminders' are probably a good part of the reason why NGOs are currently being targeted, around the world:

Thank you for all the articles you post. I try to get around to reading about 90% of what's posted here and you always give such excellent background and multiple sources and histories and that's really appreciated.
