as usual, this doesn't make sense esp considering the post in question.

Honestly I'm really so tired of how every positive Bernie post must be met with an equally negative Bernie post no matter the content. We've pretty much got all the Clinton criticisms out of our system now that she's most likely the nominee. Give it a rest and stop being so precious, guys? Your candidate won!

(But again, trolls gonna troll.)

Maybe it was because every negative article about Hillary that could be found was posted, and every article about Bernie or Trump ended up with anti-Hillary comments that had nothing to do with the article itself (mostly in snarky asides and 'lol'-prefaced 'comparisons').

People got sick of it, but nobody pitched a big fit. Now that Bernie is stringing his campaign along as long as possible and losing his credibility and support in the process, people who got beat over the head with how awful Hillary was/is (and how awful they were/are to support her) are doing a bit of the same. I'm pretty sure the negative Hillary posts on this comm for the last however many months are double the negative Bernie - maybe even triple.

While I do agree that maybe there were some fits pitched, I sympathize with the spirit of this.

I mean, even in this post there is no acknowledgment that while she's not as far left as he is, she maybe lines up with this stuff more than presumed, and/or wants to listen to the people she hopes to represent.

Nope, there's multiple comments with the gist of "It's all ambition for her, she doesn't even care, funny that she'll likely make it under HIS platform."

I mean, how condescending is that?

It's incredibly condescending. She is left in, I would say, 90 percent of her issues - as left as Bernie, for sure (considering they voted nearly the same most of the time). But that's always painted as her 'pandering' and 'being political'. Gah.

And yes, some people *did* get a bit overwrought in comments (on both sides), I won't deny that. But the endless denigration and downplaying of the slightest bit of 'this is a good thing, here' really just got amazingly old.
