She exceeded her projected target. It coming down to a single digit win for Bernie puts him even further from a pledged majority. He needed a blowout in both States today. I think he'll need about 68 or 69% of the remaining delegates now.

Here's an analogy:

At halftime, the Clinton Establishment are leading the Sanders Revolutionaries 30-10. But in the third quarter, the Revs mount a good drive and play some field position, and at the end of the third it's 33-17. They've improved from down by 20 to down 16 pts. This does not mean they're on a winning track. The problem is, they're running out of time faster than they're scoring points. Sure, Bernie's been winning WV and IN, but he's only been gaining 5 or so delegates at a crack, well short of the pace he'd need to win.

As it stands, to win a majority of pledged delegates Bernie would need to sweep all remaining contests AND win them by almost 70%/30%. And I'm willing to lay a sizable bet that Hil will take NJ and DC, so Sanders would need to win all the other states by something more like 75%/25%. Theoretically possible, but nah.

Hillary won one state, and kept Bernie below the target he needs to stay relevant in the other. Double win.

It's 2-1 at the 75th minute and the team is down to 10 men. It's -possible- that the opponents can net 2 goals within time but it's not feasible given that they have 15 minutes left.

See now Mou HAS to get a job in epl so he and Pep can have pissing contests

And "typical Germans" to me means getting to semis and crashing out so my definition is not always what people think about

Manchster United will be fine in a few years time. They are still one of the BIG clubs but I think the big names sans Arsenal have spent way too much time resting on their laurels and relying on money to just buy talent. One good thing about Wenger that I don't thnk any of the other managers are good at is that Arsenal INVESTS. (as does Bayern and Barca although Bayern is the Borg of football)

Those darned Germans always knocking United out of the Champions League... except Schalke. Because Schalke is a hot mess.

Yes!! I am on _fb. But with my work schedule the way it is I can only catch Sunday and Monday games. Nothing will quite match Fernando Torres riding on a helicopter to Chelsea though...

Omg stop that post was EPIC. ugh i miss that place so much. i think everyone went over to twitter and the place just died, there used to be so many members and omg all the wank on transfer day. i guess there are still people posting but it isn't the same anymore is it?

ugh i hope you're right. it's just i got spoiled with united, we were on such an amazing streak and honestly as long as we were in the hangs of fergie, it never got too hopeless. you knew he'd turn it around. i just don't want my club to turn into another chelsea/city/RM situation where we have a rotating door of managers. but the landscape of football is changing, i don't think we'll see many more wengers and fergusons in our days.

ugh yes those germans. we've never really been able to put one over them after 1999 =____=

There were a ton once WC '14 hit and now it's died off but there are still enough regulars to keep things trucking. It's just not nearly as silly lol-tastic because there has been less lols to be had.

Idk. I think you're right wrt managers but sooner or later you run out of big name managers to actually WANT these jobs. I think Chelsea's going to be hard pressed bc everyone knows they're toxic. Schalke's no better (which is frustrating as all get out).

I think EPL in general needs a shakeup. Which is why I'm happy Leicester won. Gives the other clubs initiatives to really look at working from the ground-up again. Although I hate Bayern dominance Bundesliga has it right to focus on youth development.
