I love how quickly people are registering their disgust and opposition. It's awesome. I also just saw this in the news tonight, Cyndi Lauper is going to play her NC show, but she's donating the proceeds to an LGBT charity in NC.

I like this idea. I'm kind of torn on the idea of cancelling shows. I totally understand why they are doing it, but it also sucks for the fans.

It really does. I like that she's going to be creative/supportive with the money she makes - I think that while Bruce Springsteen makes a bigger impact by pulling out, her impact in that regard might be less, but her donation will make a very *big* impact.

Yeah. I totally get Springsteen's decision, but I am actually seeing him tonight and if that show had been cancelled because of something awful my state did (I'm in Michigan, that is a pretty long list sighhhh) I would probably cry.
