Some friends on FB were saying that this moment humanized Sanders for the first time to them. A lot of people are jaded by the false promises of hope and change, and he can come off as echoing the same stump speeches from time to time. I really think this will change how we all talk about him going forward.

I haven't seen it either (I would love to, though), but I bought the soundtrack. I hope the tour comes to Philly, but I'd love to see it with Lin-Manuel Miranda.
This whole Bernie bird thing reminds me of that one episode of Gravity Falls where they are having their mayoral election. For those who haven't seen it, the way they do it is the candidates have a big debate and the townsfolk throw bird seed at the person they like best. At the end of the debate they release the Freedom Eagle, and whoever the Freedom Eagle bestows its birdly kiss upon is declared the winner.
Has anyone using LJ on their cell phone had issues with ads? I can go to a comm or a comm entry, and it automatically routes to ads. I've used Chrome and Safari, and it happens in both. 😩 Why did LJ sell out to our new Russian overlords?
Totally feel you. LJ is blocked on my work computer so... this is all I've got. It wasn't always un-usable, but it's gotten so bad recently. I can't even open 5 links on ONTD without at least 2 going to an ad.
