Privilege is what allows Sanders supporters to say they’ll “never” vote for Clinton

The latest installment of “The Internet Explodes with Hatred for Hillary Clinton” happened earlier this month. The Democratic presidential candidate, whose own record on AIDS research and funding is better than any other candidate, mistakenly said that former US first lady Nancy Reagan was a key supporter of AIDS research. I agree with this article, I hate that people are going to vote for Trump because Bernie didn't win, like come on guys.

But I also disagree with it to a certain extent. I don't want to HAVE to vote for someone I don't like because it's my duty to keep a terrible person out the White House. It's a shitty feeling, and while the choice is obvious (I mean, Clinton vs the devils incarnate themselves, lbr) I wish I didn't HAVE to vote for someone I don't agree with because it blocks some douchebags from getting into office.

I will be voting for Clinton if she gets the nom, but I think her various flip-flopping and pandering on issues makes her seem untrustworthy (and yes, I use untrustworthy because I can't trust her to stick to one ideal) so it won't be full-heartedly. And that sucks.

I remember begging my mom to come out and vote for Obama for me, because I was only 17 and couldn't vote. I had already filled out her information, all she had to do was come up and vote (and she did.) and I was there early in the morning to vote the second time - even went to the wrong precinct and had to drive an hour to get to my other polling place in Redneck, Ohio. I did these things because I WANTED to, I wanted Obama there, I wanted to vote for him and have him be my president.

So it's a bad feeling to know my vote isn't because I agree with a candidate or someone I feel will help me and our people and is just "the lesser of the two evils." And I know this has happened before and will happen again plenty of times in the future, but it's my first time experiencing this feeling and it's the worst.

I've been looking for those words. Thank you.

I want to like, favorite, and marry this comment. I'm so tired of Hillary supporters blowing me off because it's expected that we'll all fall in line if/when she becomes the Democratic nominee.
