March 5 Primary/Caucuses Results

Mar 05, 2016 14:31

Results as of 11:50p ET.

Notable here is that despite Trump leading Cruz in the Kansas Caucus polls (RCP had him +6 yesterday), Cruz is winning handedly. Additionally, in Maine, if a candidate gets over 50% of the vote they take all of the delegates. If no one breaks that threshold, they are divided proportionally to those getting over 10% of the vote. Louisiana requires a candidate get 20% of the vote to receive any delegates.

5:50p ET: Ted Cruz has won the Kansas Republican Caucus.

6:45p ET: Sanders leading in Nebraska according to VERY early results.

8:30p ET: Bernie Sanders has won the Kansas Democratic Caucus.

8:52p ET: Ted Cruz has won the Maine Republican Caucus.

9:08p ET: Bernie Sanders has won the Nebraska Democratic Caucus.

9:18p ET: Hillary Clinton has won the Louisiana Democratic Primary.

9:30p ET: Donald Trump has won the Louisiana Republican Primary.

10:50p ET: Donald Trump has won the Kentucky Republican Caucus.

I'll keep updating this post as more results come in. That does it for tonight! Thanks for all your great comments, guys!
