Bernie won the states he won by wider margins than I had expected (except Vermont ofc). Also wow @ how close Massachusetts was.

Which future states are supposed to be good for him?

I am constantly seeing comments about how Bernie supporters are "a turn off" but is there any reflection going on among the Clinton folks and how their comments aren't helping matters any either ( ... )

I think most of us will hold our noses and vote for her, but, most of the folks I am working on with in the Sanders campaign are experienced grassroots activists who are feeling less than comfortable with the party as a whole. These are folks who would be a great asset to Clinton because they have lots of skills and lots of connections with various community groups. But they aren't sure what they will get in return if they put their energy into her campaign. The assumption is that once Bernie isn't there to push her to the left, she will move back to the center.

It's just one of the flaws of a 2 party system, I guess.

(Personally, should Bernie drop out my attention is likely going to pivot to local races)

I voted for Bernie in the primaries yesterday; he didn't win my state but I didn't really expect him to. I've been resigned to the fact that Hil's going to get the nomination since day one but I hope Bernie keeps getting support to show that his political ideas are actually viable and can stand up in a general election. The best thing I can hope for is that we'll see more candidates like him in the future even if he decides not to run again.

Right now I'm thinking that Hillary might tap Bernie as her VP or put him in her cabinet like Obama did with her; it would be a good placating move for his voters to ensure they'd turn out for her and it would let Bernie have some policy influence. I wonder if he'd still have more weight as a senator though.

I think VP wouldn't go over well with conservatives who are disaffected with Trump. The Cabinet position he'd be best for is Department of Labor, but I see him staying in the Senate, too.

His victory speech yesterday was more a senate campaign and less a presidential one. Might be more to do with being in VT though

My guess is he'll stay in the senate. With that said, while I think Clinton will win (the nomination - and hopefully the general since ugh, Trump), I *do* like that Bernie is campaigning and *do* hope that his ideas gain lasting traction.
