Trump's Male Offspring Gives Us His Opinion On His Father's Waterboarding Statement

Donald Trump would run the country like a frat bro, his privileged son insisted Monday.

Eric Trump defended his billionaire blowhard dad's Sunday night statement that he would "bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding" if elected president, bizarrely claiming that the banned torture tactic is "no different" from everyday fraternity hazing rituals that have routinely made headlines across the nation over the past year.

“You see these terrorists that are flying planes into buildings, right? You see our cities getting shot up in California. You see Paris getting shot up. And then somebody complains when a terrorist gets waterboarded, which quite frankly is no different than what happens on college campuses and frat houses every day,” said Eric Trump, the executive vice president of The Trump Organization, during an interview with "On the Record" host Greta Van Susteren.

“And, you know, the man would keep this country safe," added the silver spoon scion. "There is no question about it.”

The waterboard defense came as the real estate magnate Trump-stumped in New Hampshire in preparation for the Granite State’s primary on Tuesday.

Eric Trump could have been referring to some of the more sadistic hazing rituals happening on college campuses across the country, including one rumored case of actual waterboarding (but with, alcohol, not water) at the University of Houston in March of last year.

Or, maybe it was a reference to brutal rituals such as the so-called “glass ceiling,” which led to the death of 18-year-old Baruch College freshman Chun Michael Deng in 2013, for which his fraternity members are facing criminal charges.

Or, it could have been Indiana University’s idea of creating camaraderie, when fraternity members forced a male pledge to perform oral sex on an exotic dancer in front of a room full of shirtless fraternity bros.

Trump’s torture plans notwithstanding, he is leading in the polls in New Hampshire after he lost last week’s Iowa caucuses to Cruz.
