FINAL Republican Candiate Debate: Las Vegas

Dec 15, 2015 19:27

The main debates dont begin until 9pm, but there are ~preliminary undercard debates~ happening between now until 8:30pm. No idea what that means, as these "undercard debates" dont appear to be broadcasted/streamed to the public. But just FYI.

Here's Vox.com summarized assessment of tonight's events:

CNN has has been a bit vague about about when the debate will actually begin. It has advertised that "coverage" of the debate will kick off at 8:30 pm Eastern tonight - but it seems that the debate itself won't start until somewhat later than that, probably at 9 pm. The earlier undercard debate began at 6:30 pm Eastern, and is now in progress.

Expect the stage to (still) be quite crowded. Nine candidates have qualified for the primetime debate segment: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, John Kasich, Carly Fiorina, and Rand Paul. And the undercard will feature Mike Huckabee, Lindsey Graham, Rick Santorum, and George Pataki. (SOURCE)
