Exactly. A commenter on HuffPo nailed it: "My thought was 'Many hours of prayer??' How about 3.5 seconds of common sense? That's enough for the rest of us."
It's a very effective way of pretending to be a good person, and that God has told her what to do. She's being judgmental as hell, and even now that she pretends not to "judge" the girls any more, that still implies that what she said before still stands, but she is so good a person that she keeps it to herself.
Of course, there are parts in the New Testament about one should not make a public spectacle of praying, but I'm sure she hasn't read those.

And I'm kinda worried that someone had to resort to "many hours of prayers" before apologizing, in general. Just--really? Geez.

I'd also classify her as totally stupid.
It should NOT take "many hours of prayer" to know that what she did was w-r-o-n-g, WRONG.
