Almost got called to court on Monday to testify, didn't happen in the end. I got all amped up for nothing. *sadface*
It's tree pollen season again and I'm going crayyyyy. I finally gave in and got some Allegra D on Monday and it's been awesome compared to the regular Allegra. Thank goodness for pseudoephedrine! And I got a new vacuum cleaner that is like a super sucker or something (or maybe my old one just sucked) and a HEGA anti-allergy air purifier to go with the HEPA one I've had for several years. Next on the list is a neti pot.
I guess I should just suck it up at some point, whip out my insurance, and go to an allergist though. Anyone had luck with the steroid shots vs just trying to deal with it as best as possible? (ETA: or corrective surgery, Idk. A colleague says someone who used to work here had similar problems and it was the best thing ever.)
Things are better for me at the moment. I'm now just stressing about normal things, like my job (it doesn't seem very secure), and hoping I'll succeed in removing the glitter glue from my three year old's hair. And arguing on Amazon about Anne Rice's asinine petition to take away everyone's privacy.
Fun stuff. Hope everybody's having an enjoyable friday.
She's petitioning to disallow anonymous reviews on Amazon or reviews that are not confirmed blah blah blah. Basically being the complete hypocrite that she is.
hey you guys. i totally need to move to a new city, but i am so broke.my ex volunteered to be my room mate (a whole 'nother fucked up beyond reason story), so i have a place to go, but i am no mooch. its 3 hours away and i can't seem to find a job there to save my life. plus, if i do get a job, i'm still broke...how will i afford to pack my crap and go?i have nothing worth selling. the most i can do is bail on the last 2 months of my lease and bills and just go. that's so wrong. it's like i am cemented in this hell hole for the rest of my life.
