Why are they arrested homeless people for trespassing? I could see if they were threatening people but just because r was sleeping in a certain spot? It seems illogical to me

This is unfortunately a common practice in many cities. They cite or arrest homeless people for trespassing or loitering basically in order to discourage them from hanging around an area where people don't want to have to look at them.
