Sorry I've been away guys. Between Tumblr getting distracted and the upcoming wedding... the queue got pretty backed up. Please accept ridiculous gifs as an apology.
This is like my third snow day in grad school this year. It's weird but yay snow day! Also, while I do enjoy work from home days I am extremely unproductive during them.
I finished student teaching this past Friday. OMG so many feelings (a mix of "yay, no more working for free!" and "saying goodbye to my classes sucked!!")
No snow days this week, which is probably good since most districts around here have had 8+ days off already this year
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is awesome and just the right difficulty curve. Disappointed that it's not heavy with mine tracks like the last game but given how difficult the previous ones were that might be a good thing
February was such a brutal month at work for no other reason than sinuses / off-beat schedule. I'm glad to be done with it.
Sitting here listening to a Sting concert and trying to get sleepy. I AM NOT TIRED.
$NewJob is going well. We just had a major release, which was 2+ years in the making! It was a huge effort on everyone's part and now, we are sitting back, taking stock, relaxing a bit, before we go back and refactor parts of the application.
I am also learning new things, my $DirectSupervisor and my $BigBoss appreciate what I have done in the short time I have been there. :)
No further word on the turgid drama front, after blocking the good-friend-of-ex-with-terribad-boundaries contacted me. Admittedly, though, the whole thing was triggering. Calls to the relevant specialists were made, awesomeness on the part of friends, family, and the beau was (and is) appreciated.
