I rage-quit shortly after the time skip so I'm a bit behind too, but it's that sort of series that you need to take a break from at times or you'll just get burned out. Naruto never really caught my interest, but I read enough of it to know about the characters.

Oh man, the fight between Usopp and Luffy was fucking intense.

As sad as it is, it's one of my favorite moments of One Piece and really changed my views on Usopp during the fight, after the fight, and the apology. I hated Usopp at first and thought he was fucking annoying, but after this his character just evolved and I really saw how deep a bond Usopp and Luffy had besides just being goofy with each other.

when i first saw that scene in princess mononoke, i actually legit cried. :( i truly thought he was going to die but i also felt a lot of emotions.

shit, just ghibli films alone would disprove this racist dude's comments.

my legit favorite glibi movies are tied between princess mononoke and castles in the sky. it shows that people can be really complicated and can have grey areas.

also, strong characters i can relate to.

Mine is obvs Princess Monoke, lol. Not only because of the main characters, their conflicts, and how beautifully the conflict of techno advances that help mankind vs nature is executed, but THERE ARE SO MANY AMAZING WOMEN CHARACTERS IN IT. WOMEN, WOMEN EVERYWHERE.

Yes! I loved it for that when I was a kid. I haven't seen it since then (it was a rental and then out of circulation); I really should re-watch it.

I started tearing up just seeing that first gif, damnit! Ugh, Ghibli films do such terrible things to my heart. Even Pom Poko, which is about tanuki, for crying out loud!
